Mirror Mirror On The Wall
Starring into the eyes of a stranger, I think, who is she? Perplexed, the only thing i can do is surmise about the quick tempered, cynical, and naive flesh of glass she is. Animosity impregnates the air of the room; suffocation lacks only an ounce more before damage is done. She's deceiving... too disgusting to taste... toxic to everything around her. I ask, "who are you?" She responds with a hissing mock of my words, spitting venom while she does so, "who are you?"

starring at the mirror, we only see the mere image and reflection of what we want others to see and perceive of us. asking who we are and who we will be is just a question that will only be answered with time. there is no right answer to life there is no right way to live life. we live how others want us to and in some cases how we think we should. we never fully find ourselves til the end. that one day we are about to leave and suddenly everything just clicks everything just makes sense and everthing just seems to have happened for a reason.
The mirror as you put it is a way of looking at ourselves through the eyes of another. By simply looking into our own eyes we can peer into our own soul and the longer we stare the more we begin to realize how far from perfect we really are. Our flaws are amplified in our mind's eye, and they can easily become an obsession.
But why must we look at ourselves in such a cynical point of view? Shouldn't we be able to look at ourselves and be proud of what we have become and look onward with a sense of hope in what we will accomplish.
Look at yourself and don't see the flaws that you may think you have, but see the potental that others know you're capable of.
Life is too short to live hating yourself. Live your life, and simply don't scrutinize over the little things.
And to the question "who are you?". You are who you want to become. Everyone has an unlimited amount of potential in what they can become and in how far they can go. If you can only look at yourself with hatred and fear, you will never be able to see the good that you have in you.
Another view of the mirror could be in the possibility of it as your polar opposite. But if your relfection is that evil, and putrid and vile, then that would make you a saint now wouldn't it. Being overly concieded can also be destructive to one's self, and should also be avoided.
And to keep in the spirit of myself, TRA LA LA, LA DEE DAA, bbye ^_^
